Pastries Impasto Painting Workshop

This summer, we hosted our Pastries Impasto Painting Workshop Event! The theme was inspired by afternoon tea culture in Hong Kong, and provided clients the opportunity to create a highly textural piece.

We introduced a variety of traditional and contemporary impasto techniques, and covered artists who have been prominent for using impasto in oil or acrylic paintings. For the first time, we included complimentary drinks and refreshments to create the afternoon tea experience. Our decor had touches of tea pots, floral designs and aesthetic cookies. Students were able to learn traditional painting techniques with acrylic painting on canvas, while also being more playful with the impasto tools. The final pieces included 3D, tactile elements.
