  • Artisanu candles consist of clean beeswax and coconut wax formula with de-odorizing enzymes, 100% cotton wick, and IFRA-certified fragrance sourced from the USA.

    1. Always supervise a burning candle. Keep it within your line of sight at all times.

    2. Store candles out of reach of children and pets.

    3. Never use a candle near flammable materials such as paper, fabric, bedding, books, curtains, or decorations. Ensure your candle has a clear and safe space.

    4. Prevent drafts from affecting your candle's flame. Keep it away from open windows, air conditioners, vents, fans, and other sources of airflow.

    5. If the flame grows too high or flickers excessively, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and check for drafts before relighting.

    6. Always extinguish the candle before you sleep.

    7. Wait for the flame to completely go out and for any smoke to dissipate before replacing the lid.

    1. For best results, allow the candle to burn for approximately 3-4 hours, or until the wax melts evenly to the rim. This helps the candle burn more evenly in future uses. Burn times may vary depending on conditions. This prevents the formation of a "memory ring" and promotes even wax melting instead of tunneling.

    2. Keep your wick short, ideally around 1/4 inch, for ash-free burn. After the first use, use scissors or nail clippers to trim the wick's length accordingly.

    3. After the first burn, the candle may take less time to melt to the edges. Always allow the wax to melt to the rim for an even burn. Avoid burning the candle to the bottom as you approach the end. Instead, replace it when only ½ inch of wax remains.

    4. In case of tunneling, wrap aluminum foil around the top of the candle and leave a 1-inch hole, burn your candle until the wax around the edge has melted.

Additionally, if you have concerns about using scented products around your pets, we recommend opting for our unscented option (Gesso). These are an excellent choice for optimal odor removal while being mindful of your pets' health and comfort.

Order and Shipping

  • We accept Apple Pay, Paypal, and other major credit cards.

  • Please email us at contact@theartisanu.com as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order. We’ll do our best to process your request.

  • We offer international shipping to the USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK on all items except candles. Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and customs fees. Additionally, we ship within Hong Kong. If your country is not listed, please contact us to inquire about shipping options.

  • HONG KONG

    For greeting cards, there’s an option to choose between Hong Kong Post or S.F. Express.

    For other products, we use S.F. Express (順豐速運), with shipping fees paid by the receiver unless the order qualifies for free shipping.

    INTERNATIONAL

    All products, except candles, are shipped via Hong Kong Post with the option for tracked or untracked shipping.

    We will ship within 2-3 business days after processing your order.

  • Hong Kong Post (stationeries only): $15 -$20 depending on weight

    S.F. Express: $30-$40 depending on weight.

  • Please allow 3-5 business days to process your order. After 3-5 days of being processed, your order will be ship through S.F. Express. As soon as it ships you’ll receive a shipment notification email with a tracking number for the S.F. express system.

  • Get in touch with us at contact@theartisanu.com within three days of receiving your item. Please specify the issue you've encountered and, if possible, include relevant photographs.

  • Our store operations are created on-demand, so unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges. In the case of damaged or defective products, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item for assistance at contact@theartisanu.com
